In winter, for snow lovers, there is a ski lift Kozákov, a short distance (5 minutes by car) from the Panorama Kozákov cottage, where you will find a ski school and ski equipment rental. The ski areas Turnov and Hamštejn are within 15 minutes, offering great conditions for downhill skiing. In just 30 minutes you can reach Ještěd, known for its modern ski slopes and beautiful views. If you have more time, in 40 minutes you can be in Harrachov or Rokytnice nad Jizerou, or in Špindlerův Mlýn, where you can enjoy not only skiing, but also other winter sport.

You can put on your cross-country skis right in front of the cottage and set off on beautiful trails through the surrounding nature. Alternatively, you can head to the nearby Jizera Mountains, which are crisscrossed with countless cross-country trails and offer unforgettable experiences.

There are also many marked cycling and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity of the cottage that will take you through the picturesque landscape and allow you to discover the beauty of the region all year round.

Bohemian Paradise offers a wide range of marked hiking trails and cycle paths that will take you through this picturesque landscape. Adrenaline lovers can try paragliding, while cross-country skiers will appreciate the groomed ski trails. There are many interesting places for trips in the surrounding area, such as Kost Castle, the ruins of Trosky Castle, Valdštejn Castle, Hruboskalsko, Humprecht u Sobotky, Sychrov Castle, Bozkov Dolomite Caves, Rieger Trail along the Jizera River, the Ski Museum in Jilemnice, a private collection of semi-precious stones and a quarry in the village of Kozákov, and the smallest Cimrman Lookout Tower in Nouzov.

This place is ideal for hikers, especially thanks to the Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise. Cyclists will find their place in the summer, when they can use the cyclobus to get to attractive places in the Bohemian Paradise, such as Trosky, Hrubá skála, Valdštejn and Turnov.
